We really enjoyed our time here. Wonderful service. Knowledgeable servers. The food I believe is all home made, and wonderful. Great adult beverages to choose from.
Nice, intimate space tucked away in the Mills area along Falls Rd. Friendly staff, and a small but interesting menu with reasonable pricing. Appetizers are hit and miss in terms of value and quality. Creative mixed drink specials. The ambiance goes a long way, though. A great place to go with your favorite person or when getting to know someone. I was there on a weekday so check other reviews for the weekend vibe.
I went to Birroteca during Baltimore's Restaurant week. While the first course I chose from was very well-presented, it was too filling, and left little space for the rest of the courses. Unfortunately, I personally felt that the second, main course along with the dessert wasn't as impressive as the first course. It was as if they would give you that first, amazing impression, but the dishes you order after that do not live up well to your initial expectations. Price was alright, and food wasn't bad.
Great food, get the pizza and the meat they gave me some there wasn't bacon. I have no idea what it was but it was almost better than bacon!
The staff was friendly and attentive and the beer selection was fantastic :)
Birroteca is an excellent place to eat. We came here for dinner with a group of friends. They atmoshpere of the restaurant is rustic, which stands out among most Baltimore establishments. Our table ordered a variety of food. All looked delicious. The calamari was superb. The pizzas are fantastic and use some unique toppings. Very nice beer and wine list. For dessert we got ice cream which was from a local creamery. Delicious. The after dinner drink menu has a nice selection of some decent bourbon. I recommend stopping here when visiting the city.
