Shared a Sriracha Chicken and a Short Rib with a colleague for lunch. Short Rib was very savory and quite good, but I wanted something to help balance it out, maybe some arugula? The Sriracha Chicken had awesome flavor, but because the chicken was cut into smaller pieces and the bread a little on the toasty side, the sandwich was falling apart. Added an eclair for dessert which was super light and creamy, definitely the best I've had in a while.

Their vegan options are INCREDIBLE. The Chickpea melt is one of the most delicious food items that I have eaten in my life. Today, I had the vegan grilled cheese, which was outstanding as well. The staff is so friendly and helpful, and I'm so glad they offer vegan options. Honestly, their food trumps the vegan stall next to them.

Sriracha Chicken Sandwich (whole) - $12. The bread was a delightful cross between fluffy and crunchy, soaking up all the flavors oozing out of the succulent chicken. The house hots were a nice addition but could’ve packed a bigger punch, it’s a Sriracha sandwich so one would expect a little more heat. The biggest deterrent to returning is the price. For $12 a bag of chips or at least a fountain drink should be considered to be included. I was excited when I saw pictures of their breakfast biscuit, but $11 for an egg and cheese biscuit ($2 extra for bacon) is just not a purchase I can justify. Nonetheless, lunchtime service was great and the sandwich came out quickly.

So pumped to have a new sandwich spot in the neighborhood! Quick and easy BUT ALSO tasty and handmade. The Siracha Chicken is a must ????

A new vendor in the up-and-coming Cross Street Market. I had the chick pea melt--an open face sandwich on sourdough with mashed chickpeas, vegan cheese, and pickled carrots and red onions. I liked that the bread was slightly toasted, because the chickpea would have otherwise made it too soggy. The saltiness of the pickled vegetables, creaminess of vegan cheese, and sweetness of the sour-dough came together to make a delicious treat. However, the bread had the appearance of a store-bought loaf, and I was disappointed by the proportions relative to the price...you really had to buy a side or two in order to satisfy your appetite. I will say that the service was excellent--we were checked on twice by the staff after sitting down, including the owner of the store, who clearly does a good job of keeping-up with her customers.
