Lovely atmosphere here! You're just kind of packed in with a few strangers, and by the time you leave, you're best friends. The owner/bartender is very knowledgeable about whiskeys, and she has an amazing ability to find the perfect one you didn't even know you loved. However! Be warned that these are VERY heavy pours. It's great for getting your money's worth (they start around $20 a pop), but it can ruin your night fast if you think you're having one finger and you're actually having four. Open again after being closed for a few years. This cozy bar specializes in scotch and has an extensive selection. A great place to try different types and figure out what you like. The sign on the door says max occupancy is currently 8. Pours can be expensive but are generous.

The selection is amazing and the prices are affordable. They don't have food at all (only small packets of chips) so you need to eat anywhere before going there to not vet drunk. The owner is very nice and the place is very small.

Birds of a Feather is a wonderful little whisky bar with hard to find selections from all over. They have every scotch you could think of an plenty you can't think of too. I was amazed at the depth of knowledge from the owner, she can help you decipher the deep menu and help you pick based on your beer likes/dislikes.

Deeply comfortable, a warm fire in an unpretentious place. A welcoming gem. And unique -- a neighborhood scotch bar; I know of no other, anywhere. ... One of Baltimore's many small, but sublime, treasures, for those who are open to life. No joke. Enjoy the friendly uniqueness of this special place.
