Three of us had lunch here on a Saturday afternoon. Great view of the harbor - and very spacious and comfortable seating! Two of us had the half sandwich (turkey blt) with cup of crab bisque and salad; the other had a turkey blt) and everything was really great! The bisque was really tasty - smooth and well seasoned; turkey tasted fresh roasted. The wait staff were not great - seem to disappear for periods of time - and we asked for coffee towards the end of lunch and had to ask again after a long wait when none showed up!
Food was awesome but the service left a lot to be desired. Crab cakes were delicious and the Smith cake was incredible. We waited a really long time for our food, especially dessert and then our coffee was forgotten. We wanted a picture at the end and spent 10 minutes trying to flag down a server. We had to go to a back service area to get their attention. If you are okay with a long meal then the food is worth it!
The atmosphere is great. I had the Crab Hash that was really good. It was only 4 tables occupied but took forever for my food to come. I ordered a starter and it came after my main course. My first experience wasn’t good or great. It was ok.
Fun classy clean place within a downtown big city multi-level shopping mall building. Has great views of the harbor out the 5th story window and views of the "mall" over the balcony. That just-for-fun classy stop had a good port and a great deep chocolate desert with the youthful/nonclassy name Chocolate Revenge. The sight of the quiet bar added to the classy dessert stop experience. Every once in a while, you gotta go somewhere classy, and you can still have fun.
