A wonderful restaurant with super friendly staff. Vegan friendly during certain times... Great food!

Great beer list and really good food. The crab cakes are on point. Nice atmosphere whether you're in the bar area or dining room. You feel like you're in a mountain cabin. The service was really good and really quick. I'm definitely coming back.

Went there for anniversary dinner service was excellent staff friendly and attentive. Owner went out of his way to make us happy even though one dish my wife ended up not liking. However there was nothing wrong with dish he removed it from bill. Overall food and beer was excellent and we will be returning !

If you like the idea of a great local brew pub, you can't go wrong. Beers made in-house are excellent, food is exactly what you'd want in this atmosphere. Check out the specials. Best thing about the 'Duck is the the friendly and lively staff. Pablo, Matt, Ryan, Julia, Meg, etc work great together, foster a community feeling, and draw you in. What's not to like here? I come to Solomons on business and it's the one place that really makes you feel welcome when you come in, every time.

Fantastic food. Never had a bad meal here, and I've been coming pretty regularly since open. However, the service over the past couple of years has been consistently poor. I'm not sure if they just discriminate against young people or what. I waited ~15 minutes once while sat without being greeted, and had to approach the host stand to ask to be served. I often feel as though I'm rushed, even being told by a server once that he was in a hurry to leave to watch a football game as he cleaned around us. I mean, I'm a server myself, I get it... but really? Keep that to yourself. I even waited 20 minutes for my change once, but it seems as though our server just left the building. Decided to just dip out and leave that 40% tip. Despite this, I keep returning for a reason... well, and that's the food. Maybe if you look like you have more money than I do, you'll get better service. I'm usually not one to complain, but my experience has been consistent enough that I feel like I have the right to.
