The Mount Airy Inn

Great food, excellent service. Breakfast all day if you want. Nice, relaxing atmosphere. You'll want to come back. Wide range of beer on tap or bottles.

We had a party of 5 ordering appetizer and entrees. The calamari was excellent. One person ordered the Yankee potroast special after a lengthy decision making process, only to be told later they didn't have it that night. Another person ordered the muscles in wine sauce to find when it arrived that it was in a tomato broth. It wasn't bad, but not what was expected or preferred. Two burgers were ordered: one was cooked perfectly, the other was way overcooked. The other item ordered was their never fail, always good version of a chicken pot pie. The server was slow with drink refills and it could be hard to get her attention. She also didn't clear empty plates from the table unless we pushed them into her hand. It wasn't a full restaurant, but seemed a little too much for our server. Overall it was fair. Food was fresh, place was clean, good atmosphere - but server and food were slightly off this Monday night.

I enjoyed breakfast sitting near the burning fireplace. It was simple and delicious. The atmosphere is very nice. Our waitress was very attentive and nice. It was a good start to a nice day. I recommend without hesitation. Hope to try dinner soon.

Breakfast 9am on Saturday was calm and quick. We went with the young kids and were immediately seated. Food was fast and delicious. Coffee was good! Also very affordable. It was getting busy as we left at 10 but still a few empty tables.
