Food and service were excellent. We have been coming here for 25 years and it's better every time. If the main dining area is too noisy you can ask to be seated in the back dining room. Great for people with food sensitivities or allergies.. Everything is made to order. They are always accommodating.

A gem in the middle of old Sykesville. The food was excellent both times I've been. Once was for dinner with friends and the second was for brunch on Sunday. Both times were during their peak hours so there was a substantial wait time so this is not a good place for a "quick bite".

But if you want great cuisine with daily specials during the week and brunch on Sunday morning/afternoon, then this is worth your consideration!

My only issue was parking. The lot behind the venue is nowhere near adequate for said peak-times. So expect a short walk from some of the nearby free public parking lots if you must eat during said peak-time. The kitchen is open til 10 pm. So if you're a night owl like myself, go later.

We've loved the food on previous visits but this time we were diappointed in the calamari and hot turkey sandwich. They used deli turkey, yuck. The calamari had no flavor. The prices are pretty high for a pub, so we expect better quality. The mashed potatoes and service were excellent.

My husband and I greatly enjoy coming here. The food is excellent. I'm a big fan of the Bookmaker Salad, and we love the Jumbo Lump Crab in Dijon Butter Mussels appetizer. The atmosphere is lively and fun. It can get loud in here at peak times, but there are two rooms off of the main dining room that are a little quieter if that's more of what you are looking for. I love to sit in the little alcove by the fireplace in the colder months. I bring people here for lunch often and my husband and I enjoy dinners here as well. Great local spot!

LOVE this restaurant! Everything I've tried there is delicious and the prices are very fair. My favorite is the crab cake sliders! There's a good beer selection and a great outside patio when the weather's nice.
