Baldwin's Station

The building is interesting and the dining room has a cozy atmosphere. All of the staff were nice but service was slow for them not being very busy at dinner (we were one of only four or five tables at any time, split between what looked like two servers and two food runners/bussers); it's fine if you plan to "dine" though. I guess my overall review is everything is just "okay", from the food quality to the menu to the drink selection. I'm glad to have tried it and lunch during warm weather on the open air deck might be fun, but I'm not sure I'd recommend as a must-try for dinner.

This was a Saturday afternoon with some friends from way back in high school. Baldwin Station was extremely more busy than they had anticipated due to an event happening nearby. We waited a very long time in the bar area just to be seated. People before us got frustrated and left. But we stuck it out. Our waiter was kind and gracious and apologetic, our food took a little long to get there, but we knew they were unexpectedly backed up without enough help. However, our food came out perfect, delicious, and it was well worth it. We understand things happen... and we will come back again!

Enjoyed brunch with former work friends. Veggie omelet, black bean cake, kale and scallop salad, and fried chicken and biscuit were all good. Comfortable, relaxed atmosphere. Excellent servers.

We had an amazing meal tonight. The filet was cooked and seasoned to perfection, and I loved the celery root risotto - fantastic! My husband ordered the salmon and loved his entree as well. Drinks were creative and excellent. Service with Annie was fantastic (as always - we were so happy to see you this evening!). Baldwin's Station has a really lovely atmosphere as well. The train went by towards the end of our meal...that was a great ending to a really nice evening out! I highly recommend this restaurant.

22 years in Howard County and we finally ventured over the border to Carrol County.

The food was excellent, as were the specialty cocktails. Service was attentive and friendly.

Our foodie New York friends who visited the previous week would have approved and they will definitely have that chance at their next visit.
