“The shrimp salad was great & the crabs are cooked perfectly. The waitress Jaime was excellent and kept on top of our drinks and extra condiments. My only complaint is we ordered and paid for extra large crabs but we got medium to large. Maybe they were extra large compared to the rest of their inventory but certainly not worth "extra large" price. Otherwise my lunch was more than satisfactory.”

“Shymansky's Restaurant is a Cobb Island treasure. We enjoyed two dozen of the best crabs any of us had eaten in several years. I was with my Cousin and Aunt who needs to restrict salt. The waitress made sure we were served our crabs with Old Bay on the side and not heavily coated on the crabs as most all crab houses normally serve. We enjoyed fantastic crab balls and hushpuppies also. I highly recommend this restaurant's food and excellent service. Can't wait to go back.”

“This is a really good seafood restaurant. The chef is a master fryer, and the seafood is fresh and tasty. I had an oyster po'boy (without the bread), and a basket of french fries; my husband had a fried flounder sandwich on a roll, not on bread. He was happy with the freshness of both the roll and the fish. I would give it five stars, but the windows overlooking the water we're a bit grubby. Nonetheless, it is one place I would bring a friend who is in a wheelchair. Overall good food, terrific staff, and handicap accessible.”

“Service is usually good, but occasionally it is dismal. There was a female bartender at the outside bar who had a bad attitude. We wanted food but she said we couldn't eat at the bar, though another couple was eating food at the same bar. Bathrooms are pretty gross. Fruit flys in the bar. But the times where we have had good service have been great.”
