Have eaten here 3 times. Park in the local Church St. garage (Church St. is a right from northbound Market St. before you see the restaurant, garage on left or directly from Market St. - right turn after you see restaurant on the right). The garage is right behind (since it faces Market St) the restaurant. The atmosphere is casual and nice. Its a nice 'American' restaurant with food for all (gluten free, vegan, etc.) i.e. not just for locally brewed beer. While the beer is good the food has been great every time. If your looking for a relaxing casual dinner this is a place to try. Parking fees for a 2 hour or so stay only $2.00 payable by credit card - so no worries. Building is older - kind of historic. It 'fits-in' in Frederick.

Since it's so unusual to have 70 degree weather in February I joined the masses and went out for dinner. I chose Brewers Alley for their quiet ambiance on a Tuesday night. Although Tuesdays are taco night specials I decided on a burger with shoestring fries. The burger was well done as I like it but still juicy. To complete my meal I had creme brulee with blueberries and whipped cream. I love my fruit and wished they had added strawberries but it was still delicious. This is a family friendly place for a restaurant and brewery. I haven't had the opportunity to experience the rooftop deck but that's for another visit when warm weather arrives. One plus I want to mention is the hostess knew sign language which I appreciated.

Pulled off I-70 not wanting do a drive through on a trip from Pgh, to Cape May, I stopped in Frederick and found Brewer's Alley. Great for a great Crab and corn Chowder and a BBQ. Sandwich! Lots of good things to choose from. Made a long trip much better. Friendly service and clientele made a great change to "Here's your order".

McKinley and his trainee (whose name I didn't catch) did a wonderful job serving me. Highly recommend the French onion soup! Love the 5oz draft option when you don't want to commit to a full beer! Will definitely be back!

Great beer. Good food. Nice bar area for hanging out or watching a game. Great seating for dining with a family or groups from 2 to 8. Rooftop bar for those beautiful downtown Frederick days and nights. Patio seating out doors for people watching at street level. Some of the best wood fired pizza around. This place does everything well and is in the heart of the city.
