Chaps Pit Beef

I had heard of pit bear, and was very curious to try it. Not really my thing, but a huge menu and reasonably priced means there certainly is something for anyone. I can’t say the food was anything less than great. Fries were top notch.

I like roast beef. If you have ever been at Roy Rogers and wondered what could make their roast beef better, the answer is to head over to Chaps. Straight up, the Chaps beef has a deeper and more enjoyable flavor. The standard pit beef here also comes on a better bun and appears to offer more meat that the large beef at Roy's. The free toppings include pickles, horse radish, onions and several good sauces. There are other toppings offered at additional cost.

As far as the sides go, other than fries, I recommended paying the small additional amount for the larger size. The small size is 25-30% the size of the large.

They also have a drink fountain including fresh tea.

Cost wise, a sandwich, side and drink can run from $13 to almost $20 if you go crazy. About what you spend at Five Guys.

Man, been a Chaps customer since their opening in B'More. Happy to have them in Frederick. Healthy food that tastes GREAT!!

Aaron and his crew are friendly and make sure you get your order fast and right. Best walk up (cant call it fast food) in the area.

Go try Chaps it will change your thinking on where to eat for a good quick meal.

I do always think y'all are delicious... I have been to the one in Baltimore and my in-laws were very excited that one opened up here. So awesome and everything I have tried from the menu Rocks!
