Much improved since my last visit 3 weeks ago (see below). Not sure if it's because Staffing is different at dinner time. Plan to go back one more time just to make sure. Truthfully, the food could be better. The waitress did a good job. Good atmosphere.
Previous visit wasone of my worst restaurant experiences ever.
Apparently they had 2 large parties and only 2 servers. WHERE WAS THE MANAGER?
Took forever to get our order and it was cold. Fish tacos were partially inedible.
Asked for check when they finally brought our food but that didn't happen either. I paid cash and left because we were SOOO LATE. Didn't even use my $10 award. I didn't want to wait for that either Waitstaff was closing out checks too. Again no manager helping or present.
I grew up in a restaurant family...this was a disaster
So I came here over Easter weekend. A Saturday night not much going on assuming because of holidays. My waitress’s name was Hannah she was phenomenal. She was very nice and polite ( she was great because she ID me and I’m 33 love her for that) . She suggested wonderful items crab dip for appetizer, Nola chicken for me , and shrimp tacos for my husband. We also finished with a monkey bread desert. Hannah was an awesome waitress would absolutely come back just for her to serve us again and also for the wonderful food. Highly recommend for anyone in the area or stopping through.
My sister and I dined with our two kids here for dinner. We both enjoyed a cocktail and a beer. I had the Bloody Mary - good and the Orange Beer - great! They had a good kids menu and my son enjoyed his grilled cheese. I would recommend the fried pickles and the Philly sandwich. Our waitress was super friendly and helpful and very attentive to the table. A wonderful experience!
Average at best. Food is nothing special, but didn't come here for 5 star anyway. Staff just isn't all that friendly. Somewhat rude at first when asking just a simple question about whether a table was self service or not. Then an order was not processed after asking about it 3 times (which was finally comped). It is a convenient location, but judging by the size of the crowd it's not enough to overcome the flaws.
