Uncle's Hawaiian Grindz

Had lunch here on St Patrick's Day. Food was very good. Uncle's Sampler plate was excellent. My wife's chicken and waffles was good too. Staff was hit or miss - waitress was good. Table bussing during the meal was a little intrusive. Also the kitchen was blaring something jazzy. From our table, this caused an annoying mix with the Dave Matthews/Jack Johnson that was coming from the speakers overhead. Nice place; a bit more professionalism from the staff and it would be great.

This is probably my favorite restaurant. I've been here multiple times, and I've never been disappointed. The food is always delicious, the staff is always friendly and knowledgeable, and the restaurant itself is always clean and well-maintained. I simply don't have a bad thing to say about it.

We went to Uncle's for restaurant week and loved every bite. We even ordered a few sides of the preset menu the get the most flavor we could in one dining experience. The spam and mac was the best I've had. The staff was super friendly and guided us through the menu since it was our first visit.

We were hesitant to walk in with our 14 month old. But they were so welcoming and they seated us in a section kind of tailed off from the hustling/bustling section of the main restaurant. That helped a lot. Our server was amazing. Very attentive staff.

Definitely worth a try!
