Delicious raw oysters on the half shell, great crab Imperial, sold and polite waitress! A good evening here. Basic beach style restaurant, nothing fancy but great sea food!!

I am a regular customer here. The food is good and the service is great. The workers are polite and nice. You can eat in or carry it out. The prices aren't bad either. Good parking also.

We always get our seafood and great sides (deviled eggs!) here and love the stuff they sell. I normally opt for getting crab cakes here and then going a bit further East on Rt. 40 to get REAL BALTIMORE STYLE PIT BEEF at the place with the predominantly yellow sign. Last weekend I decided to try the Pig Pickers pit beef sandwich and fries. HINT - Pit beef is not smoked. The very name indicates that it is cooked on a BBQ “pit” and will have a crispy, charred outer edge with a medium to rare center. Pit beef places will ask you how you want the beef and they will slice it from a hunk that is done that way.
At Pig Pickers I was never asked how I wanted the sandwich which should have set off alarms. What I got was a well done smoked beef sandwich on white sandwich bread. I took it home and only ate half the sandwich.
I only took off one star because I should have known better and asked before placing my order on the phone. From now on I will make the second stop at the yellow sign and get a real pit beef sandwich on a kaiser roll done to order. It’s actually a few bucks cheaper and you see them prepare the sandwich. It adds 3-5 minutes to your trip.
Seafood here is great and I am sure that Bar-B-Que fans will like or even love their smoked items. Just don’t expect pit beef...
