    Great neighborhood gem. Best corn meal crusted fried oysters ever with homemade tartar sauce. Perfect mussels always. Known for great burgers. Lovely old railroad house by the MARC Station in Garrett Park. Quaint. Yummy.

    We go here for special dinners. The food is unreal good! I always over eat! The staff is also really friendly and the environment is really unique for the area. Its tucked away in an old building that doubles as a post office in a quiet neighborhood next to a train track. Really cool place for that special occasion. .

    I had put in a reservation for ahead of time and while our numbers were in flux (we ended up with 10) and everyone arrived at different times, they seated us and got us appetizers almost immediately. The atmosphere was great and the food was delicious. Would definitely go again!

    Celebrated wife's birthday. Food was fantastic and in good portions. Service was attentive without being intrusive. Owner and Wait staff ask all the right questions to ensure a good visit. The building itself makes a nice backdrop for an enjoyable evening.

    I've been to Black Market Bistro multiple times and always have a good experience. I love sitting at the bar in the evenings, or sitting at a table for lunch with my toddler with a window view to look for trains! My favorite dishes are the grilled squid salad, burger with onion strings (one of the best burgers ever), and the shrimp and grits. Pizza is also noteworthy!
    We really love the upscale neighborhood feel of this place and will come back many times!
