Mamma Lucia

Oooh, Mamma Lucia's has gone through some wonderful renovations. The rooms -- it used to be one kinda dingy room -- are now sleek, modern, and inviting. The food is terrific, as always, without any noticeable updates. I feel strongly that Mamma Lucia's pizza is one of the best in the area; beautiful, yeasty crust; sauce that is not too bitter or sweet; great toppings; all fired up in a very hot oven. A well-balanced pie!

Their pasta dishes, at least the ones I've tried (OK, it's hard to stray far from a pretty perfect slice!), are abundant old-fashioned dishes, lovingly prepared, and taste as if they came out of MY mama's kitchen. Reasonable prices, too.

Was disappointed today by some tough, overcooked calamari, but the dish of substitute meatballs made us completely forget any misstep had taken place.

Love the remodeling they did. The restaurant looks a lot newer. It’s not just a carry out place. The restaurant inside have a great looking small bar. It’s a very nice chill out spot, when you getting off work. The restaurant inside looks amazing. The food is Awesome!!! Love the employees working there. The employees are very friendly. This is one of the restaurants I like to have a good meal with my Dad.

The food was amazing. My boyfriend and I had finally been able to have a lunch date so we picked this place. A lot of the staff though didn't seem to have smiles on their faces. But one young kid had a smile the whole time we were there. Even when this lady had his clean the mirror on the wall, put up some glitter decorations around the restaurant. We love going places with staff like that young man. Whoever he is, is a keeper employee.

Great neighborhood place. Always get a good meal there at a very reasonable cost. Pasta dishes are top notch - generous portion sizes and taste great. Don't miss the bread that comes with the meal and the garlic sauce that comes with the bread. We go there quite often. Owner Jimmy is a great guy and will usually stop by the table and say hello

Extremely nice place !!
At first glance from outside you think it's only a small bar and carry out pizza to the left!!
But, when we walked in, they have a whole dinning room in the back and far right side!! Felt very cozy!! Enjoyed the food very much!! Plus we just happened to be there on Wed evening which to our surprise was half off bottled wine!!
Nice selection of reds, whites, and bubbly. Enjoy a nice red Luna Luna!

Highly recommend this place, for both family, and couples. Was not loud!
Wait staff were very pleasant!
Would definitely go again!!
