Cava Mezze Rockville

I can't compliment these guys enough. I was their first customer (Ike was still building tables when I walked in). They catered my wedding fabulously. They've been a regular fixture for dining for my wife and me. And today, I had their lamb gyro with fries. It says something when my wife and I both say "OMG, this is amazing" with the fries ALONE. The gyro was superb (with some shoestring fries added inside), and the fries were crisp and delicious.

A great night out for anyone, from 18 to 88. If you haven't tried them yet, what are you waiting for?

My whole experience here was exceptional. The food was fresh, not processed, hot, and absolutely delicious. I live 2 hours from this restaurant and will make the trip for the food again. I also really enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant.

This is related to the chain restaurant Cava but is different. It's a real sit-down restaurant. They offer great Mediterranean cuisine. If it's in your budget go for the plate that has the pork, lamb, etc. Delicious. Their feta cheese hush puppies are amazing. The fried cheese is great. There's also plenty for vegetarians as well. Seating is extremely limited, and the whole place is really small. If it's busy, it's extremely loud. Good service.

We discovered Cava years ago when it first opened. It remains one of our top three go to restaurants. Everything dish is delicious, appealing to the eye, and shareable with dinner partners. Service is always quick but unobtrusive and suggestions plentiful. No draft beer but a very inviting selection of domestic and international crafts. Wine and cocktail selection are perfectly suited for the greek/med menu.
