Medium Rare

Medium rare is one of my favorite restaurants in the DC area. It's the best value steak house I've ever dined at. Make sure you save room for dessert as well, they have some great options.

Loved the food and the atmosphere. It's a nice change to go to a place where you don't have to look at a busy menu to decide what to eat. Here you know what's coming and it's good.

Like the fixed menu. The salad is great. Good bread. Meat is ok but sometimes chewy. The steak sauce is good. Overall, I like it.

Dinner consists of salad, bread, beef, and fries; Simple but delicious. Try their warm spiked cider. It's perfect for this cold weather. Make sure you go on an empty stomach because the server brings you seconds.

Excellent fries and dessert (I had key lime pie). First round of steak was a little thin, gray, and flavorless except for the nice addition of gravy. Second round of steak had better flavor, texture, and char. Service was mostly very good, friendly and quick, but forgot things we ordered a couple of times. I would come back for the fries and dessert, hands down. And, I wish they had a NY strip night once a week or something.
