Smallish food hall. Interesting collection of food Halls- Indian, Cuban, Italian, Middle Eastern & others. Pleasant if rather non-descript atmosphere. Prices reasonable. Also outdoor seating area.
Ordered the Penang curry from Sky Lanterns. Attractive dish, but vegetables and chicken breast seem to come from the freezer via the microwave. The sauce (coconut milk plus Maesri curry paste?) was similarly lukewarm. The meal is served on a real plate, but the provided plastic knife and fork are of the cheapest possible type. Staff is nice and tap water is free, but overall not a great value as a $17 lunch entree.
Interesting idea and concept along the lines of mall food stalls but better. Many choices we ate from Sky Lantern and it was tasty.
They have a bar where you can drinks. A small indoor area that can get very crowded. Also a small area for sitting outside.
Interesting decoration is trying to be trendy and cool. Fun casual quick dinner out.
The food hall concept works well here, with different "kitchens" around a central dining area. I've previously enjoyed the Thai food from Sky Lantern and lamb kebab from Yasmine. This time I had the chirashi sashimi bowl from Doki Doki. It looked terrific and smelled good. Sadly, the sashimi fish was mushy and rather tasteless, as though previously frozen. So I was disappointed ☹️. I'll try something else next time
Met some friends for weeknight dinner, when it was barely half full. My Salmon Poke Bowl from the Thai food stall, Sky Lantern was probably the only completely healthy option available and the teriyaki glazed salmon with edamame, shredded carrots and lightly pickled cucumber atop a bed of red leaf lettuce and brown rice with a light sauce was tasty. My friends chose the BBQ stall, Supreme Barbeque, and feasted on a brisket sandwich (tasty but sliced too thick) and a full rack of smoked ribs (delicious beef ribs but enough for 3 meals). Being only half full, the noise level was low enough to carry on conversation. Getting ice tea turned out to be a major production but large fill your own plastic cups made getting water rather easy.
