Osaka Ramen & Sushi

We were craving some sushi and tired of the spots around us. We found Osaka on Google and feel in love! The owner is so sweet and the service was hands down the best we've had in this area in a very long time. The food was amazing!! We've ordered sushi and the gzoya twice now. The food is so flavorful and fresh! Highly recommend!

Bold flavors and generous portions. The tonkotsu and spicy umami miso ramen is amazing! Really liked that the takoyaki was more octopus than fried dough. The menu covers all bases, whether you're craving rice bowls or sushi. Service is quick and the staff’s hospitality is amazing. They gave us edamame to start and cheesecake bites to finish on the house! We’ve been waiting for a good ramen spot to come through in Gaithersburg, and I’m happy this is now open. Can’t wait to come back soon and try other dishes!

I got the chirashi and the quality of the fish is good! For the price and quality of the chirashi I would definitely be coming back for it.

My favorite unexpected thing though was the korokke from the appetizer menu. The outside had an amazing crunch to it. The toppings on it were also a nice addition.

We started off with the takoyaki and we were impressed by how much octopus you get. Many other Japanese restaurants give very little so I was pleasantly surprised when the octopus was the main ingredient and not the batter. We also go the salmon lover and volcano roll and it was bigger than expected! The value is definitely there, and it also tasted great. I got the tonkotsu ramen and they gave more cha shu meat than all other places. The broth was flavorful but not as thick as I am used to. We ended our meal with the cotton cheesecake and it was good. Overall, the quality and value of everything is fantastic. We will be back again!

I discovered this sushi joint last week and decided to try it today on a raining day. Surprisingly it is 30% off for the grand opening. Ramen is delicious and they have many different combos, we also tried chirashi and the salmon bento. chirashi is okay. I wish I can have more salmon. Tuna’s texture is a bit different than usual but overall good. Additionally, we ordered sushi lunch special. The rolls came in at the end. eel Avacado and spicy tuna rolls. As we are almost fully, they are okay.
