The food at Woodlands was great! We went for the buffet and thoroughly enjoyed the food. The food service was quick (no food really ran out since if it did, it would quickly be replaced). The restaurant really cared about their vegetarian audience; most of the food was vegetarian.
The buffet price was economical too.
The only thing that I would recommend is an update of the ambience, which is fine currently anyways!
The Indian food at Woodlands is amazing! When people come in to town we take them there because it is that good! It's usually packed with large parties of families enjoying an awesome meal together. It is all vegetarian but you don't miss the meat for a minute! They also have a few vegan options. Highly recommended!!!
Vegan friendly! Very delicious food. Seems a little pricey for the amount given but we both left satisfied and with a small amount to take home. Helpful and friendly staff and it did not take long at all to get attended, get our meal, or even the check at the end. Highly recommended. Also, I was comforted knowing there were several Indian families eating there while we were visiting.
This place has terrific Indian food and especially good if you are a vegetarian. The food is delicious, the service is friendly and personal, usually the owner is in attendance and can suggest special items. The menu has many delicious dishes that I could share with my friend who is allergic to dairy and gluten and does not eat meat or fish. The eggplant dishes I really tasty. It is located in a rather nondescript strip-mall in a location where you might expect a pawn shop or a drugstore rather than a superb vegetarian Indian restaurant. But don't let the location and exterior ambiance put you off. Inside the restaurant is clean and pleasant with an Indian the decor.
There is a reason this place is still popular - unwavering attention to quality and customer satisfaction. I recently ate here after about 10 years. Still as good as I remember it. The area around its location has changed drastically, but it hasn't.
You are promptly seated upon arrival. The ratio of waiters to diners is quite high, so it is highly unlikely that you will ever go unattended. I went on a Sunday, so the buffet was on. Perhaps thanks to this, they were getting people in and out fairly quickly. That said, did not see any signs of people being rushed out. I certainly felt welcome to stay as long as I wanted to. The variety of food offered in the buffet was ample. The food was tasty and fresh. There was enough consumption to keep it fresh too. The "Mysore Coffee" hit the spot.
