The only Indonesian sit-down restaurant in the DMV area. All halal, with gluten free & vegetarian menu. I love their Tempe mendoan for appetizer, Nasi uduk platter (the coconut rice is unmatched) and the Pecel lele also comes with the most delish sambal & fried tofu tempe. I also had their soto betawi and tengkleng, no complains! If this place is any closer to me i’d definitely come weekly. p.s everything is made fresh and in-house so be patient

The staff is super friendly, service is superb and food, is, well, heavenly.

My top picks are the Cow’s foot curry and chicken satay. For you who are used to Malay satay, this is very different and is rolled in coconut. Mango smoothie is cool and refreshing. There is free tea and coffee service. A lovely coconut rice cooked in banana leaves, reminds me of my African upbringing and cuisine.

Please tip generously and in cash, as the iPad PoS tips go to the house, not staff.
