Tacos Don Perez

I can't claim that I had anything that stood out as having a really unique flavor, but every thing that I tried had the right taste and texture and amazingly, it was all for a super cheap price. The music was a little loud, but the place was cute and the staff was extremely nice. I would definitely return if in the neighborhood.

We've been here 2 times and really enjoy the food. Meat is seasoned very well. I love that they have Lengua (Beef tongue) tacos. But they are all great. Daughter loves the Elote... aka street corn!!! Definitely would recommend this place to all... but it is small. So it can get busy and the wait times go up when you order food. But it's all made to order... and I love the bagged salsa baggies. 1st time they were a little spicier than 2nd but that's real salsa. Jalapeños are not all equally spicy.

Long-awaited food truck comes to its new brick-and-mortar home in Antique Row. The tacos are just as good as they are at their Georgia Ave food truck and there's so much to enjoy from lengua to fresh al pastor tacos off the trompo. I especially enjoy their carne asada and birria tacos, but why not try them all? So happy this place is in my town and is finally open at last!!

Been visiting TDP since their inception days in their driveway. When they moved up the road to Glenmont, I felt like they fell off a little bit. But now with this location in Kensington, they’ve bounced back. The food tastes much better and the tacos were a hit. Even got the torta which the nice girl behind the counter suggested and it was a home run. I’m glad to see this place back on their A game and hkw fats they’ve grown in just a few years. Keep going!
