Urban Bar-B-Que

Good service .. Liam was my server. Mac and cheese was very good, as was the slaw and cornbread. The BBQ was a bit dry but had lots of good flavor. Parking lot was very full, as usual.

5 stars for a fast food BBQ place. I'm usually disappointed by the price versus quality at a BBQ place, but not here. The brisket, pulled meat, and ribs and all great. They have some healthy options for sides, that still taste really good. The cornbread is really good. If you get tortillas with your meal, they grill them a bit, which is a nice touch. They have free peanuts, as per usual.

There is also a bar here, and during games a few people will be watching, but it doesn't disturb the restaurant at all.

Urban Bar-B-Que is always great! I still accidentally refer to this one by its former Urban Burger name, before all the restaurants "unified", because I always go for the burgers. They've got a decent variety of "styles" to choose from, and they do a decent job of cooking to your desired level (a rarity, it seems), and they're always delicious. Nothing against Five Guys (which has a nearby location), but if someone in town wants a burger, I'm recommending Urban Bar-B-Que!

The food is good, but not 5 star worthy. I've been going here since it was Urban Burger and have seen the place go through many different managers. The location is definitely one my friends and I enjoy but the service has gone slightly downhill over the last couple of years. They used to have some really attentive servers and bartenders but it's only 4 star worthy at the moment. We still enjoy going here as it provides some good priced drinks, good comfort food and it's not too far from home. They provide many TVs for Sunday football, which is always great. We go here to watch games often.

I’m pretty impressed. Their food is great. From what I can taste they use a mix of hickory and oak woods, which is the best wood to use. The brisket is very consistent with the proper elasticity and tenderness along with great flavor. Their ribs more times than none have a perfect bite. They’re never over cooked. The bark on the ribs and brisket is very tasty. The wings and rib tips are super good and their sides are pretty stellar. They’ve got a great beer selection and the atmosphere is great with a friendly staff. I’m pretty lucky I get to live close by.
