“Our friends recommended this restaurant to us, and it was beyond expectation! We were a party of five ordering fresh spring rolls, beef noodles, beef ribs noodles, Hanoi grilled pork noodles, Hue noodles, and steamed rice rolls with grilled meat. The foods were served fast, all piping hot and delicious. I’m very picky with beef noodles, especially the broth. They did a great job. The broth was clear, yet rich in flavors. We dived in so quickly that I didn’t have a chance to take all the photos. It was that good. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The restaurant was clean and well organized. I also loved the fact that, unlike other restaurants with blasting noise from TVs, the music here was soothing and the TV screen showed nice landscapes. No distraction! And we can focus on great foods on the table, and enjoy our conversation. We will absolutely be coming back.”

“So I usually do not like going out for Italian. When I go out for Italian, it either needs to be really cheap, or really good to make the effort worth it over just cooking something myself. Luckily, this place is cheap as heck, absolutely delicious, and portion sizes are quite generous. The staff was also incredibly attentive. I will definitely be coming back and urge others to as well. “Excellent option for authentic Korean food. The barbeque was great quality, and the brisket was a real highlight. The other dishes we got (dolsot bibimbap / hot stone bibimbap and bibim naengmeun) rivaled any other authentic Korean restaurant in the area. It is tucked away in the woodmont station center (across from best buy on the pike/355). Very nice and attentive service as well. (Just a warning that due to the older/unusual nature of the shopping center itself, the entry requires going up a semi-narrow flight of stairs)”

“Very clean and modern looking store. Very nice selection of bread, fresh produce, spices, etc. The prepared food looked very good although we did not try any. Reminds me of a smaller, Mediterranean Whole Foods. We did get the saffron ice cream, which was very unique but ultimately not my cup of tea. I'm happy to have tried it though. I would say many items felt to me on the pricier side, but also many items are hard to find elsewhere so they could be worth paying a bit extra for.”

“Great barbeque option! The picanha sandwich was incredible - a generous portion of smoky and juicy picanha balanced with fresh vegetables and a sauce and bun that brought it together perfectly. A sandwich has no business being this good. The beef ribs were excellent as well - smoky and tender without being greasy. You can tell a lot of effort and experience have gone into the barbeque. I'll need to try more sides to give a verdict on those. My wait was on the slightly longer side (15-20 mins) but it was certainly worth it, and you can always order ahead as well.”

“Friendly staff, lots of options. The prices are reasonable considering they are a small batch bakery and make everything daily. We stopped by on a Saturday afternoon, and were the only customers My daughter got a few ice cream samples and settled on red velvet cheesecake with sprinkles. We also got a red velvet cupcake for later. In past visits we got vanilla and chocolate cupcakes with a variety of different frostings. All of them were great and there was definitely more than enough icing for a good ratio. Not that the cake needed it. They were all moist and had a good crumb that didn’t fall apart as we ate them. They have a bright, open seating area to enjoy your treats and they have a party room for groups. But we chose to eat our ice cream in the car this time because the smell of the air freshener being used was so strong that it was stinging our noses. We’re hoping this isn’t normal and was only because they’re weren’t a lot of people and movement in the store to disperse the smell. Not a huge deal, but we decided to get only 1 cupcake for my daughter, instead of the 4 pack we talked about. Something about walking into a bakery and smelling the bathroom air freshener didn’t match up. We’ll give it a try again soon.”

“We were hungry and were looking for a Thai restaurant nearby. We located this restaurant without looking at the menu. This is a Thai fusion restaurant and has a mixed menu. We ordered several items, and most of the food items were good. The chicken in the chicken Biryani didn't taste good for some reason. Maybe it is a hen, but it was chewy and had a smell. Other than that, other food items were good. It's a different type of Thai restaurant, so I would definitely give Kudos for being creative.”

“Great place for breakfast! Today I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese on an Asiago bagel along with an iced caramel latte. They put plenty of bacon on the sandwich, which is great and the bagel is crispy just the way I like it. The coffee is stronger than I initially anticipated, but that’s a plus for me. I have yet to try other things on the menu, but will update this review after I do.”

“This place is amazing. The skewer system is so much fun for large groups, and the tinfoil dishes and hand-pulled noodles are absolutely insane. We got almost everything off the menu, and the best skewers (in my opinion) were the lamb, the angus beef, and the Japanese sausages. The ordering system is easy to use and the service is fast. The waiters/attendants were attentive and so nice and very engaged. They really wanted us to have a wonderful time and gave suggestions on their favorite things and what we should try. The decor and ambience were 10/10. Very hip and fun place. Prices were good as you pay for each individual skewer on a $1-3 order. So if you want an order of chicken skewers for a table of six, you need to order 6x “Chicken Skewer”, etc. The drinks came out fast too. Everything was great. We will definitely be back again! We were there during a soft open though. Definitely check this place out if you like fun Asian mixes. Comparable to East Dumpling House in Rockville. There is apparently karaoke on the second floor that sounds super fun. We loved Hulu Skewer House!”

“Me and my girlfriend came here for the first time in several months after this location went under renovation. When we came we were surprised on how great the place looks! Not to mention how good the food is! We already knew the crepes were good from our trips here before the renovation so we decided to try out the new food menu. Everything we ordered has been fantastic, from the pho to the teas (I personally recommend the Vietnamese Coffee), and the manager and staff here are so attentive and they do a great job at making sure you have what you need! Can't recommend this place enough!”
