EKO House

I desperately want this place to succeed. The flavors are bold, rich and spicy, similar to creole (naturally) and spicy is indeed spicy. Everyone loved the food! The bar and food menus are limited, however, and very overpriced. Tilapia should NEVER cost $35 no matter how it's served! Service is inexperienced, but willing to help and the atmosphere is colorful and cool. An experienced restaurateur is very much needed. Moving to a smaller location might help bring down the cost/plate, which isn't justified by the small portions. I really hope the owners/managers listen to the reviews because the food/flavor successes are being overshadowed by managerial inexperience.

We visited them on their one month anniversary. The menu is still limited while they ramp things up and the service needs some work like having a better grasp of the bar menu, BU TTHE FOOD IS AMAZING. I'm giving 5 stars because the manager and owner were both on site checking on things, asking us for input and working toward making it a much better experience.

I had twice visited EKO House; had dinner with few friends, the food was perfect and the service was great. Servers were accommodating and professional. Will be back definitely!

The place is airy, spacious, and super CLEAN. The food is very tasty and authentic. Ownership is very welcoming. I strongly recommend this spot.
