Great pub in the heart of Downtown Silver Spring. Enjoy a nice quieter dinner down stairs, or go upstairs for a more fun time. Food is always good, especially the fish and chips and shepherds pie.
This place was great ! I tried the zinfadel pasta and it was awesome ! I did not picture the dish accurately from the description, but it was delicious ! The long spaghetti like noodles were the color of beets, which my mind told me would have a strong taste. It did not, it was a gentle but vibrant wine taste. The shaved Brussels sprouts were raw, but that added crunch. There were roasted grape tomatoes and a thin but delicious brotha sauce. A completely surprising but delicious meal!
The service was amazing here, and we had a great bartender. Definitely try to get to the upper area early and reserve some space if you have a big group coming. My only complaint was that the beer menu was extremely confusing. It took a while to figure out which beers were on draft, which were on happy hour, and which you could get in a pitcher. Despite the mental hurdle, we had a good time!
I really enjoyed it here. The service was above average, the staff was very friendly, and the atmosphere was good. The food and drink was a good selection, and the seating was good as well. I recommend coming here if you are looking for a quality items
Went in for a drink before seeing a movie. Not a bad place. Decent happy hour drinks. They have a great selection of whiskeys. I thought the Irish coffee was way overpriced to be honest. Only had an appetizer, potato skins, which were decent. Nothing unusual or wonderful. Lots of signs and such in Gaelic which is nice. My family being from outside Limerick, I appreciated that.
