Jongro BBQ

Jongro just recently opened in Wheaton and is a great addition to the area. I made a reservation for 6 on a Saturday and was seated within a few minutes of arriving. We all chose the All You Can Eat option for 27.99. Bottled water was included with the meal and soda was $2. The meat was very well seasoned and flavorful, and the service was fantastic. The only issue is that the servings they provide are very small for a table of 6 people. We ordered 3 items at a time and after they were done cooking we would all just get a few small pieces of meat. Would definitely recommend adding more meat on plates for larger groups. We also would recommend offering more sauces since those are one of my favorite parts of Korean BBQ but they only provide 2 sauces at Jongro.

I visited Jongro BBQ on Friday night and had a fantastic experience. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. The food was fantastic and all the meats were high quality. I am already planning on going back sometime in the next two weeks :). Great job

First time eating at an official Korean BBQ restaurant and I loved it! The ambiance is amazing and it has been built to look like an authentic Korean street marketplace. Have some great food, meet some great and helpful servers, and take some great pics while you’re here. It’s a fun place for a first date or hanging out with friends. Enjoy!

I've been SO excited for this restaurant to open since I moved to Wheaton in July 2020 (feels like forever ago) but it was TOTALLY worth the wait. We showed up for the soft open, so there was a limited menu available. For my roommate and I, the two person combo was definitely too much food. Did that stop us, though? NO. We devoured basically everything.

The staff were all so kind and knowledgeable, and the food was seriously delicious. We get a lot of KBBQ from other local locations, and this was definitely the best quality I've had. The combo came with a seafood pancake, soybean stew, steamed egg, and plenty of other banchan.

Plus, the atmosphere is to die for! So different from any other local restaurants. It was a great experience from start to finish, and I can't wait to head back for their all you can eat once it's available. Can't recommend them enough!
