Thai At Laurel

This has been my go to place when I’m craving Asian cuisine for a few years. Everything I’ve tried is excellent and the servings are very generous. Their spice scale is hard to get used to, and I’d recommend going one step down from what you think you want unless you habitually eat very spicy food.

Great food. Service lady's very rude each time been there 4 times for the food only. Great variety . They acted like they really didn't want us there .different waitresses

We called ahead to let them know we had a party of five, and they seated us immediately after we arrived. The service was very quick and nice, and the food was amazing. We ordered the fried rice for our youngest, who really enjoyed it, and the sesame ginger beef, chicken and peanuts, and beef garden delight entrees. All were seasoned perfectly and arrived steaming hot. The restaurant wasn't too noisy, and it was well lit. Overall, we truly enjoyed our first visit and will return in the future.

Seafood volcano was very good. Scallops cooked to absolute perfection. In general, the food is not very different from the one in downtown Silver Spring. The pineapple fried rice in Silver Spring is better if you don't like it too curry tasting.
