Old Country Buffet

Unfortunately, this restaurant went out of business and closed for good this past summer (2016).

Friendly staff. Excellent salad bar: nice variety of fruit, vegetables and more. But limited selection of hot vegetables. Meats include ham, steak, chicken and chicken dumplings. Bacon bits at salad bar. Fine variety of tasty desserts - hot and cold. Selections of meat and more vary by day of week, season and availability. Beverage buffet includes soda, milk, iced tea (plain and sweet), coffee / cappuccino, lemonade and more. 11:00 am to 8:30 or 9 daily. Breakfast buffet 8-11 on weekends. Last admission a half hour before closing.

This place is awesome! Food is great regardless of the price, but very cheap. Price was better than when we eat fast-food. Definitely go here now!

It's a little difficult to judge the service, since being a buffet the only 'service' is when they clean dirty plates off your table, but the young lady who had our section was actually very nice and rated a tip. She kept our table clean, got us extra things with no complaint, and had a very pleasant attitude. The food wasn't gourmet, but who expects the food at a mid-price buffet to be fancy? It was plentiful, good, and the temperatures were what they should be. Decor was what it always is, institutionally pleasant; nothing that would make you suddenly feel like you discovered an authentic masterpiece! Basically, I would call it a good place to take the family for dinner sometimes, although it is a wee bit pricey for everyday.
