This is a very small food/beer shop in an area where there are not a lot of restaurants. They have a shelf containing a few grocery items... mostly ingredients for latin dishes (which I'm sure is not easy to find within Brandywine. There's also a large beer fridge with some basic selections... they only sell Newport cigarettes. I've ordered the fried chicken (which I want too impressed with however it was good) and the tacos (beef)... I loved the tacos. As "street tacos" (the comparison is based on the fact that they have a food truck for sale out front, therefore I ASSUME they used to serve from the truck) go they are amazing! The meat is tender and plentiful... nothing fancy but quite filling. I don't know if I would go out of my way to visit this place but I live just down the street and I will certainly be returning here as have I also recommended this to anyone visiting our farm. It's a terrific local dive restaurant and, like I stated before, there aren't many options nearby without venturing into Waldorf. I do wish they had a better selection but can appreciate them focusing on a few dishes and those dishes being delicious. I think locals may go here to watch "the game" as they do have a tv and their prices are quite reasonable. I wouldn't consider it a "waist" of time... but, to each his own, right??
Maria is a great chef! Very friendly staff. I got pollo zapados. Very authentic and great. I probably misspelled the dish. In no way was it not memorial.
I stopped by and ordered me a chicken tender meal. It was great. The fries were crispy and hot. Good job. I
