Long John Silver's

This location recently reopened. As usual the food was great. The staff was friendly and courteous. I'm glad they're back.

Poor service and dirty...

Approaching the building I thought that it was closed. It looks abandoned. The window was dirty the awnings were moldy and it just looked weather beaten. I was thoroughly surprised and disappointed since Long John Silver was The Happening spot when we were kids. The lighting was poor. A lot of the bulbs were burnt out. The lighting fixtures were dirty and the ceiling was black! So from the outside, it looked like the lights weren't on. The store look like it needed a paint job 10 years ago the doors ere dingy and the bathroom mirror was broken on the wall

The young lady working the counter was very nice, attentive and helpful. She looked me in the eye and she immediately responded to me; while working with other customers. She was the only one working front counter and window. It was several ladies in the back which I was surprised because the counter tops where the soda and condiments were really needed to be wiped down. The young lady said she like the fish, string beans and onion rings; so that's what I ordered. My meal was $10.

I receive my food immediately and hot but the only problem was it taste like it been in the freezer for 6 months and it was extremely greasy and salty. So much so, my chest hurts. I use four napkins to squeeze the excess grease out of the two pieces of fish so I can eat it. I only ate one onion ring.

I'm thoroughly disappointed with the quality of food and the appearance of the restaurant. The customer service rep gets 5 stars. The restaurant gets 3 stars.
