    What a hidden gem of a restaurant. The food was absolutely scrumptious and had such an authentic type of flavor. Very organized, polite staff it was ourfirst time but the young lady behind the counter was patient and helpful. Our wait time for our order was quick. Can't wait to come back to see what's next on the menu.

    I was really anticipating some really good food because of the reviews. The sweet potato waffle was good, but the chicken tasted like it was batch fried and not fried to order. The chicken was overcooked and too much breading for my taste. The jerk shrimp and grits had good flavor. The $6 snickerdoodle banana pudding was not good. No cookies. No texture. Too much cinnamon. I'm going to try them one more time to give them a second chance. I have to support black owned businesses.
