I started visiting this small family owned restaurant at the advice of a friend who used to inhabit the same spot. I instantly fell in love with wonderful place. I have been back every week since, and hosted two corporate paid lunches there. My favorite is the catfish with collard greens, and potato salad. I plan on sampling the entire menu. Prices are reasonable and the service staff is very friendly and helpful
Very tasteful!! First timer , grabbed the Fried catfish with M&C and Potato salad ! Phenomenal!!! But the drinks do complete the meal. Sweet tea / lemonade / Grape drink
Happy 2019! Enjoying My Time Out At EllaRay's Cafe. What Can I Say.... The Food Is Down Home Good.
This What's Left Of My Turkey Dinner. Soooo... Good.
Tried Uploading Pictures.... Believe Me When I Say. My Plate Was Clean.
I had my Thanksgiving meal catered by Ella Ray's Cafe. I would highly recommend going to the cafe as well as their catering services. The food was delicious and my guests went back for seconds. My favorite dish is her turkey wings, mac&cheese and cabbage! The peach cobbler is DELICIOUS. Everything is homemade. Very good home cooked meals. I meant to take a picture before I started to eat but as soon as I opened up my container and smell the food I had to go ahead and get me a little taste. You receive really good sized portions of each serving so you definitely will not be hungry after you eat Ms. Ella Ray's meals.
I love the service of this restaurant, it’s customer service, the food is hot and tasty! You do get your money worth! However I am concerned about how the owner’s husband speaks to their employees it’s not respectful and he does it in front of customers! That alone makes me a little upset! Most of the cashiers are younger girls and maybe their first jobs! I don’t know his name but he needs to work on his managerial skills and how he speaks to his employees! An example, a customer came in while I was their got their order and the customer asked for a extra piece of cornbread he in turns says “it’s coming out of your check” how rude and unprofessional is that!
All in all he needs to be trained! Besides this I recommend this restaurant!
