Ruby’s Southern Kitchen

This weekend was the first time visiting. Oh my goodness, we ended up ordering lunch and dinner there on the same day. We enjoyed each meal and can't wait to spread the word about the restaurant.

My fiance' & I were 1st time customers today. The sugar chef turned him on to Ruby's & He wanted to visit today for his bday lunch. We loved the interior set up. It was different, welcoming and cute. The set up of the buffet, menu & ordering system was nice. Even though they weren't busy, we could only imagine how easy it and quick it would've been to order,pay and enjoy our meal. The staff was very nice. We enjoyed our meals and were satisfied. We will definitely visit again and spread the word.

It was my family and I first time at the restaurant and we were so satisfied with the delicious food. Our cousin told us about Ruby's Southern Kitchen and we couldn't wait to go. It was a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon. The staff are very friendly and they make you feel welcomed. We will be back.

My Sister recommended we go here for lunch especially since I'm trying to eat on the healthier side.

A few things I like about Ruby's:
1. The Home Feel Decor - it looks like a little house & perfect for a housewarming. Inside, there's two high top tables & when it gets warmer, they have patio seating.

2. Payment - while my Sister stood in line, I ordered my food at the Kiosk & paid right there. You have the option of having the receipt emailed, text, printed, etc. That is a really convenient tool, & Ruby's get an A+ for having that.

3. You Can See The Cooks - I love the kitchen being open & you can see the chefs cooking your food. That's a BIG PLUS for me.

The only reason I gave Ruby's 4 Stars is due to the fact I had to wait & wait for my food & it was not busy. I the chef who cooked my fish, disappeared to assist with a catering order, & I had to ask about my plate. The staff was VERY APOLOGETIC & offered me a dessert for my wait.

For that, I'll let you know, I'll return to support the business, plus my FOOD was still hot & the Pan-Seared Blackened Salmon was DELICIOUS along with the green beans that have Turkey meat! My Sister had French toast that was smothered with bananas & a super sweet sauce. BTW, she LOVES their greens which has ham in it according to the menu.
