The CORNER LOUNGE

Good live music. Service is a bit slow but in all fairness it draws a pretty big crowd and it's usually 1 bartender. Food is really good but it takes a while for it to be prepared so order when you arrive. There are pool tables in the back room. Bathrooms are clean and there's a pre-toilet area for us ladies to powder our nose's lol
I would give 4 stars if it wasn't so difficult to find a chair.

This place used to be a dumpy, dirty, bar. The new owners cleaned it up, gave it some class. It has live entertainment, jazz nights, r&b, cigar nights on Mondays on the outside deck and has a well off, sophisticated,young adult crowd. The owner is personable and the employees are friendly.

Enjoyable atmosphere and neighborhood vibe. Staff and owner are friendly always greeting guests with a smile. Food: wings, chicken cheese steak, and shrimp are my favorite. Drinks: they have what I like! Entertainment: Daily

Great local hidden gem. Warning to Redskins fans, it is #cowboysnation there which is perfect for me! It's great for any game with draft specials, good wings, shrimp, and other bar food. Always something going on like karaoke on Tues and Fri, Jazz band on Thursdays, and a DJ at other times. No cover. Service can be a little slow for food, but it's still a favorite. Good drinks too!

The Corner Lounge is not the most up to date place to hangout, it looks like it hasn't been touched/renovated since it was built ions ago. However, I have to say, the laid back atmosphere is pretty good. The drinks are good, (although I would appreciate if they would get Bullet Bourbon) and the wings are great. If there was one thing that I would change (besides renovating) it would be to add at least one more bartender. While the young lady is great, it gets way to busy for just one person.
