A great place for BBQ and a great American environment.

We were at an event here. Everything was clean, spacious and everyone was great.

I haven't played at Andrews in several years and was disappointed to see some of the changes. I played the West course, so I can't comment on the others. The greens were in good shape and the fairways were decent with few bad areas. But the traps were poorly maintained and there were limited amenities like water stations on the course in August. The clubhouse on a weekday had only a small bar where you get limited food items, drinks and snacks. The staff was helpful, but I perceived that the overall infrastructure at the club was in decline. It's too bad as golf is decent. Small, relatively flat greens demands that you bring your short game. Fortunately, the greens are soft or it would be difficult to hit any. Price is average for a military course with a cart. But don't come expecting a country club atmosphere or amenities.
