“We have eaten here several times before and had a great experience each time. This time was different. We were celebrating my son's 14th birthday, and this was his restaurant of choice. My food was a 4, my cook was a 4, and my particular server was a 1 (at best). I gave this review a 3 due to the fact that the manager apologized for our terrible service. We were a party of 9, and we were squeezed into a table for 8. A party of 9 equates to a mandatory 18% gratuity. (This is understandable since people don't always do the right thing.) We usually tip 20-25%, so this is not usually a problem for us. Mandatory 18% tip and a TERRIBLE server who knows there is an automatic tip is a HUGE problem. Our server took the order and was barely seen after that. Such a shame that one bad server ruined our entire celebratory dinner. :-( We will probably be back eventually since the food is good, but hopefully not with that server.”
