Unbelievable. Their tea now tastes like the tea at McDonald's, watered down and unsweetened because non Southern raised individuals don't know real sweet tea (diabetics tea) when they taste it. However, my coworker stated that she haa sworn off Popeyes...other than that the food is still good and the staff was friendly.

I was disappointed. I'd heard raves about Bojangles' fried chicken and biscuits, and my expectations were not at all met.

The biscuits? Nothing special. Same for the macaroni and cheese. The mashed potatoes tasted like plain old instant flakes, and there was so much gravy on them it was like they were trying to hide something.

The chicken? It was... unusual. It tasted like pepper. It seemed like it didn't want to let go of the bone, almost like it was undercooked even though it was done through. And it wasn't juicy so much as really, really WET.

The sweet biscuits? The "Bo-berry" biscuit was tasty in the middle, but it was overcooked and dry and hard on the ends. The cinnamon biscuit was nice except for a slight metallic aftertaste.

The sweet tea? Not as sweet as I expected, but that's actually a good thing. It was not Southern sweet, like tea-flavored syrup, but it was sweet enough to be pleasant. I saw too late that they have Cheerwine on their fountain, though.

No paper towels in the bathroom, and the hand dryer didn't work. After that messy chicken I had to wash my hands, and I couldn't dry them. Bad bathrooms are a sign of bad restaurant management.

The real bright spot of the place is the pleasant service. Sad to say that's rare anymore except for Chick-fil-A. The young lady at the register was a real pro.

If I'm near a Bojangles' again in the future, I'll stop in and try breakfast. But I won't make a special trip and I won't do the bone-in chicken again. It's either Popeye's or Royal Farms for that.

The Chicken and Rice Bowl I ordered was delicious! Will be getting this again and again. Service was fine, restaurant is still sorely in need of a makeover
