As you walk in, you’re greeted by the amazing smells from all the spices used in preparing the dishes. The space is immaculate. Absolutely delicious food, I will definitely return!
Excellent customer service and delicious, flavorful food. I've been several times and the food is consistent. My husband and I enjoyed the BBQ Chickpea Ranch salad, Mango Caribbean Jerk salad with shrimp, Cornbread Kale Caesar, kale lemonade and the moist rum cake.
The customer service was great. I built my own bowl and it was pretty good. I wish the portion was a little more but I like to support black owned restaurants. The music, art and store was very nice and clean. Parking isn't bad. Lots of shops nearby.
Visited Spiced Black over the weekend and it did not disappoint. The décor was warm and welcoming. The entire staff was friendly and very helpful in my decision on which bowl to order. I had the Cajun Jambalaya and took home the BBQ Southern Soul. Neither disappointed!! The Cucumber Mint Lemonade was delicious and made onsite. Serving size was perfect and pricing fair. Will be back soon to try something else.
Soo, I tried this place and I am thankful I did! I ordered the build your own bowl blended with the mango jerk salmon. Ive never had pineapple, coconut rice but i must say it was better than I could've ever imagined. The jerk salmon wasn't excessively spicy but packed a flavor and was perfectly cooked. It was not over cooked or dry. The topping are vast. I got black beans, fried plantains, red onion, carrots, tomatoes, jerk balsamic dressing and it all came together beautifully!
Customer service was top tier. I was able to taste a few things to see if I liked it, they offered some great recommendations and was very helpful! Come out and support this brown folk business. It's not easy to have a brick and motor. Help keep your money in your community!
