Wylder Hotel Tilghman Island

Good food, friendly service, this dining room has become a community gathering place. I was surprised at who was there - no less than 12 friends and neighbors were there as well and that backs my opinion. The hush puppies with sweet onion in the batter were deliciously ensconced by a generous dish of citrus honey butter. My companion loved her portobello sandwich with melted parmesan, spinach and tomato. I opted for house-smoked ribs, wonderfully greaseless fries and a splendid creamy slaw with celery seed notes. Portions were generous, timing was good, and the Wylder is now on my list of Eastern Shore faves.

I was so thrilled to see this place under new ownership. Everything has been renovated and updated. It's clean, the beds are comfortable and the view is gorgeous. The Staff was very accommodating and welcoming.
I would definitely stay here again.

Wylder Hotel was a very nice place. We enjoyed the quietness and the beauty of the surrounding area. The staff was very friendly and helpful and even agree to stay late to help us check in around midnight.we particularly enjoyed the flexibility to take out the canoe in the bikes at any point during the day without any sort of hassles.
