Black Rock Bar & Grill

Finally tried this place out, all I can say is wow! The food was delicious, the serving staff friendly, it was an experience for sure. It's not every day you can cook your entrees on a lava rock. The only downfall I can say about the expedition is the dining is a little cramped and not really condusive to small children. The tables just were not big enough for a party of 4 with an toddler in a highchair. There was no elbow room, no room for anything else on the table especially with the large platters your cooking stones are on. My recommendation is this is the perfect date night party of two eatery. If you attempt a large party, request a very large table where you can space out. I wouldn't bring smaller children. But all in all the food was phenomenal.

Freakin’ amazing food!! Very accommodating to my lactose intolerance. Waitress Laurie Jo (hope that’s right) was so wonderful. We never had to ask for a thing. She always brought exactly what we needed moments before we needed. Wish I’d have taken a picture of the food on the volcanic stone but no time.. lol. We got the The Taste Of Two On The Stone under Great Beginnings tab.

We will be back again and again!

Great lunch deals, interesting concept, steak served raw on 750 degree stone including for the Steak tacos WHICH WERE GREAT! The skillet shrimp was fabulous, great cocktails and happy hour STARTS at 2:00!!!

I celebrated my birthday at Black Rock this past Friday and what an amazing experience! The atmosphere and building is great. The staff are really knowledgeable and friendly. The food was quite an experience that will have me coming back to visit! Do not pass up the experience to try this spot!
