Silk Thai

We loved everything we tried! Crab Rangoon, spring rolls, soup, shrimp pad Thai, vegetable pad Thai & drunken noodles. Excellent service! This restaurant may be new to Hagerstown but with two established locations in VA, it maintains a great reputation.

The food was incredible --very tasty, but be careful because it is spicy. The level one and two are more than enough for most people. The staff is very nice. Their drinks are also very good. The Thai iced coffee is wonderful.

Best Thai food in the western Maryland area! Atmosphere was relaxed and casual. Service was excellent and prompt and the food was absolutely delicious! We ordered the silk calamari, green curry and drunken noodles with seafood. I would highly recommend this establishment.

Staff is not very attentive. Two of our party of four arrived 5 minutes later. Took 5-10 minutes for hostess to come and get their drink order. Took another 10 minutes to get the drinks (iced tea and hot tea); we were one of four tables! Appetizers and main course items were well prepared but trickled out of the kitchen. The Silk Thai calamari was excellent but the sauce was extremely salty. The curry, soup, and soft shell crab were excellent. Our bacon wrapped scallops never appeared even after asking again for them. The hostess did comp us with two delicious ice cream desserts which served all of us. I would like to go back with a caveat: ask if they use MSG! if yes I am leaving. Spouse and I were both feeling the effects of heavy dose of MSG after arriving home.

We are so glad that this place opened. We were disappointed when Lanna Thai closed.

Four of us had dinner here and the food and service was great. Friendly staff and the food was fresh, tasty and hot. We will definitely be back...on a regular basis!
