The Bayside Skillet

Wonderful freshly cooked breakfast with a good amount of food. Fruit (strawberries) were fresh and plump. A bit pricey, but given the location, quality & volume of food it is not unreasonable. I would recommend visiting this place for a good breakfast!

Tried this place on the recommendation of a friend, and it did not disappoint. They had a decent variety of crepes, sweet and salty. They had brunch drinks, fresh fruit, and other aides to have with your crepes. My only disappointment was there wasn't enough crepe included, but still delicious

Great food and waitress was nice. Just don't forget any if your belongings. I had bought a coffee cup and dress and accidentally left it there . I called next morning because they close at 2pm . No one had a clue , so o drove up to check and got a nasty attitude from hostess. Kinda took the nice out of the experience.

More than worth the trip. And the return trip.

We visit Ocean City once or twice a year. And in a citt with hundreds of restaurants, we always visit the Bayside Skillet. And sometime we go twice in the same trip, because we know we're not finding anything better. In our home, it is "the pink place" because of the pink exterior and the profusion of strawberries both inside and outside the restaurant.

The menu is limited: omelettes, crepes, and pan-fried potatoes, but the variations they offer on these basics should please just about anybody. The quality is fantastic, and the servings are more than generous.

And then there is the staff. To a person, they are friendly, efficient, and attentive. Last year, we brought our then 6 month old son, and he had his first taste of strawberry there. When we returned this year we mentioned this to our waitress. From behind we heard a laugh, and the comment "and I served it to him." Yes, a year later, they remember you.

So, please, go. Enjoy. You will not regret it.

$$$ Our server, Raz, was very pleasant, answered all questions we had regarding the food/menu and serviced our table frequently. Crepes are amazingly good. More than enough food for 2 to share so you don't have to order separately. A bit pricey just for one person. We'll definitely go back.
