Dead Freddies Island Grill

Our group of 4 adults and 2 10-year olds was enjoyable! Our wait was about 20 minutes, not bad for Memorial day weekend. We chose to eat outside since it can get a bit noisy inside.
Drinks were reasonably priced, less for beer bought by the pitcher than by the glass.
Order for the strawberry salad with jerk chicken was very good, kids got chicken tacos but the order was not right as to their toppings, but the staff had it remedied.
Chicken meals were quite good. Listing says they offer vegan option but that means just the salads and vegetables. They do have a gluten free menu but we did not need it.
I recommend Dead Freddie's for families and groups...a fun experience!

Dead Freddies is consistently great! Once again(our 3rd time this year), service was great! Collin was spot on with service. Everything came out as ordered. We sat in the Bar area. No less than 15 TV's available to watch. High tables are great. Food was excellent. MD crab soup with extra lump crab meat.......to die for! Caribbean Jerk Chicken was spicy and just right. Chicken tenders are very lightly breaded and with honey mustard.....Yummy! Plenty of atmosphere for the kids too. There is a pirate ship playground for the kids. If you want the "Best of the Best", Stop here!!????????

Every year going to the beach I come here. Maybe its nostalgia, maybe its the awesome kids playground where my 2 boys can rage. I am going to say its the latter. Its great, the food is good if you keep expectations in check. I give it 5 stars just for providing me with a dining out experience where I feel less stressed and my kids can play while I eat with both my hands and sanity.

This place is great. Very family friendly. Two places for kids to play outside with seating next to or near by. So you can let your children run out some extra energy, while you get to finish your dinner, drink, or wine. I didn't think the menu was huge, but there were differently enough great options to choose from. The portions were very satisfying too. The service we had was great. They have a bar area too for those who don't have children or left their children at home. I highly recommend Dead Freddies.

We have been going to Dead Freddy’s for years. Great food and perfect for kids. We get to relax while they play and run on the playground. Play area is very contained so easy to see them. Love the shark attack drinks for the kids and can’t get enough of the cream of crab soup! Highly recommended. Only down side is that is gets really busy during the season so we usually come at off- peak times.
