Barrio Taco

This is not Taco Bell! Looking for fresh, authentic Mexican? This is the real deal. We loved it so much we came back a second time during our vacation.

Everything was delicious! Very authentic. Staff was very pleasant and our large take out order was perfect.

Best new Taco food on the eastern side of Maryland.

The food was so incredibly good, I had to go back the second day just to make sure it wasn't a fluke. You know in Ratatouille, where the food critic takes the first bite/slip of the final anticipated dish and it transports him back to when he was a child and ate it for the first time. That is how I felt when I was eating these tacos (Alpastar, Carnita, and the Asada) Except being transported back in time, I felt like I was transporter in down to Mexico City, with the real authentic tacos. It was a absolute Culinary Treat.

Man this food is good!

So so good! We got the quesabirria, pork tamale, shrimp tamale, and a carnitas taco along with the guacamole. I expected a very small tamale with pork in it but they top it with the protein which makes it a good portion. Everything was awesome. I did wish the quesabirria had more flavor but the meat in it was still fantastic. Will be back soon!

I have waited patiently for this place to open and today it finally did. I was able to try a couple different items and they were all fantastic. You have to try this place! The staff was very friendly under the pressure since it was busy for being their first day but everything was delicious and very flavorful. We got to try a few things like the pollo empanda, camarones tamales, pescado al pastor and everything was great!
