The Cap'ns Slice

When visiting the town of Berlin Maryland,this pizza shop is a must visit. It’s not your typical pizza shop slinging cheese and pepperoni pizza slices across the counter. (Although you can get cheese and pepperoni slices). The owner of this shop creates pieces of art that you eat! That’s rite, his pies are pieces of art.once you step inside you will understand. I can’t begin to tell you which is my favorite. They’re all my favorite! Since my first visit I’ve spent more time in his shop than my own kitchen. Every trip is something new and very different. But trust me when I say this , It all works! Stop in and grab a slice or 2 and you’ll understand. I won’t eat pizza anywhere else since my first slice.

This place is excellent! The pizza here is like something you’d see on social media and wish it was close to your home town… turns out, IT IS.

Definitely recommend stopping by and grabbing a slice or two for lunch too. The crust is flaky, light and delicious.

Yancy’s pizza changed my life… the crust is perfectly crispy and cooked evenly throughout, not a flimsy doughy slice that flops apart…Plus the fresh unique flavors cant be matched. Guy is a magician. Creative pies that are tastier than anything ive tried. Must go for pizza.

My new favorite pizza!! William B. Pordobel - EVOO, Mozzarella, Zucchini, Yellow Squash, Semi Dried Tomato, Pesto, Burrata, Toasted Pistachio, Fresh Basil , Asiago. The Cap'n is an artisan pizza master. Plus, his instructions on reheating made for a perfect date night.
