We were delighted by the delicious dishes with superb ingredients and flavors. The steamed clam broth was so good and it was devoured down to the bottom by the entire family. The grilled wild salmon was high quality and cooked perfectly. The pork shop dish was also solid with sweet crunchy apple compote sauce.
We had dined at few other famous local restaurants in OC and found this hotel restaurant surpassed them all.
The view of the beach from outdoor dining is a plus in ambiance and service was outstanding. We’d definitely return!
At 9am on a Sunday there was supposed to be a 40 minute wait for a party of 5 but it only ended up being around 20 minutes. Got seated at a table for 4 with a seat pulled up and a few minutes later a party of 4 got seated at a table for 6. We ordered before them but got our food after.
The wait staff were all pleasant. The food was ok overall. The crab avocado toast had rave reviews from our teen who rarely enjoys what she eats. The yogurt parfit was fluffy with delicious fresh fruit. The poached eggs in the eggs benedict were over cooked (not runny). Everything else was pretty good. Nothing to rave about and the kitchen seemed a bit slow. I believe they would benefit greatly from a breakfast buffet at this location (which we were incorrectly told they had).
We stayed at the hotel for a quick weekend trip, and decided to have dinner at Solstice. The dinner was delicious. Much better than several places we've tried in Ocean City. The rockfish with risotto was excellent, and the clams had such a dynamic flavor. In addition to the food, the beach front dinning is top-notch. The restaurant is well worth the price for the quality of the food, great flavors, and views.
My husband and I recently dined at Solstice located in the Hilton (formerly Dunes Manor). The recent $35 million renovation has elevated the property to new heights of beauty and refinement, setting the stage for an exquisite evening. We were blown away by the incredible flavors and impeccable service. From the moment we walked in, we knew we were in for a treat.
I ordered the salmon, and it was a true culinary delight. My husband opted for the scallops, and he was equally impressed. The seared scallops had a delightful caramelized crust and a melt-in-your-mouth texture. We couldn't resist ordering the crispy Brussels sprouts as a side dish, and they exceeded our expectations. Our guests made an excellent choice by ordering the filet mignon, which proved to be a true culinary triumph.
We highly recommend it to anyone in search of a memorable dining experience. We can't wait to return and explore more of their tantalizing menu.
