The Brewster Fish House

Food was original and very delicious. Combinations of items you dont see every day. The prices reflect fine dining not crazy high, but more than the average place on the cape. Cod was unreal. The fluke was so amazing except that it was folded and broiled, but the under part was not cooked enough and was still raw (not flaking apart). That aside it was an interesting experience. Jerusalem Artichoke was a first for me.

Food was good, but portions were small relative to cost. If you wish to be more upscale and have small portions, I’d encourage a house salad or bread as a sort of first course so customers leave filled. That said, the food I did have was very good.

What a great restaurant! The best chowder I have had in a long time. Monk fish was expertly prepared and beautifully presented. Wonderful setting, pleasant atmosphere, great service and all with a smile. If you're in Brewster, you have to try it. Get there early, they don't take reservations, but worth the wait.
