The House of Ice Cream

Great ice cream! I would recommend the sales people familiarize themselves with flavors and be ready for questions.

The House of Ice Cream is a nice addition to the plentiful ice cream shops in the mid-cape/Dennis area. Interestingly enough, the building where they are located used to be a Howard Johnson's Ice Cream establishment decades ago, before it was Marathon Seafood for many years.

We tried it for the first time, and were pleased with creamy, tasty ice cream, the ample parking, and the absence of long lines of some of our other favorite ice cream establishments in the area. They had some creative flavors of ice cream, frozen yogurt, and sorbet, but also some traditional favorites like vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry. I enjoyed my pistachio nut ice cream very much, which was a nice size serving for the single scoop. They offer a choice of cones, toppings, and different sizes of servings including a kids size cone, one scoop, two scoops, etc.

The ice cream shop seems clean and bright, decorated with vibrant colors, with several small tables and chairs. If they get busier as word gets out, I think they could add more tables to accommodate more people.

Check it out, for a change of pace from the usual ice cream shop choices in the area.

Really good ice cream and toppings, it’s super cute inside as well. Went with 2 adults and 5 kids, spent less than we normally do when we go out for ice cream other places and didn’t have to stand in line for half an hour. They had 3 people working on our 7 different orders, it went super quick. Nice high top seating for us and cute bench and table for the kids. Will definitely be our new ice cream spot!

Good ice cream, very clean, never a long line. This seems to be our Summer 2019 place because it's always been a positive experience.

I don't get why this place isn't packed. I had the chocolate lovers and one with espresso scoops in a waffle cone. It took me about ten minutes to decide because everything looked amazing. Everyone in my group was stoked. They had a list of all of allergens so we knew just which ones to avoid.
Super cute space. Instagram worthy for sure!
